The idea of My Swim Cap was born when My Swim Stuff CEO, Kary Dodd, became frustrated with traditional swimming caps. Tired of her hair being soaked with chlorine from the pool, she sought to make a better swimming cap. A swimming cap that was comfortable, stylish, durable and more effective at protecting the wearer’s hair.
After months of prototype creation, product testing and focus groups, My Swim Cap hit the market in 2009. Since 2009, the company has seen only growth as word-of-mouth propels My Swim Cap sales.
My Swim Stuff’s mission is to offer unique, functional, fashionable swim-related products to the public, as well as promote aquatic fun and fitness.
